Dan and Kimball will demonstrate a cross examination of the defense medical expert using it as a vehicle to teach the core skills of cross examination;

1. Looping
2. Using the present tense/visualizing
3. Dropping or delaying the tag lines, “right, correct , true?” etc
4. Dropping filler words, “and, um, ok, etc”
5. Effectively using a flip chart to teach
6. Emotional state control
7. Pacing, slowing down voice

Dan and Kimball will then demonstrate how to apply these skills to every cross, both in deposition and trial.
