Jury Selection (trucking case)
Joe will conduct a live voir dire with a focus jury on a trucking case with this fact pattern.
On September 23, 2021 Trucker Tom Jones was crossing U.S. 91. He failed to yield the right of way to Mike Jones who was driving his 1995 Harley. Mike Jones made contact with the back of the trailer and died at the scene. The motorcycle was doing 42 mph in a 35 Mph zone. A toxicology report revealed the presence of cocaine in his blood.
Joe will voir dire on the following issues

- Burden of proof
Joe will meet with students prior to the event by zoom to review the case and his strategy for writing and practicing his voir dire
