This case is about the vindication of a 14-year old boy who was wrongfully convicted of capital murder and spent 6-years in prison. After the Mississippi Supreme Court reversed his conviction, we tried his case again and this time got a “Not Guilty” verdict. Tevin was set free. But Tevin, determined to prove his innocence, sued the State of Mississippi for wrongful conviction. After a ten-year delay, another jury found Tevin “innocent.”
