Trial Lawyers University
February 18–20, 2027
A rigorous, faculty-led deposition intensive with Phillip Miller — built for trial lawyers who want to prepare, take, use, and teach from a deposition with more precision.
Small by design, so every lawyer has room to work and receive direct feedback.
Practice in a consistent cohort, with time for repetition, observation, and critique.
Work closely with the faculty throughout the program rather than from the back of a ballroom.
The curriculum
The program focuses on the decisions that make a deposition useful at trial: case theory, witness preparation, sequencing, impeachment, exhibits, and the record you leave behind.
Participants work through live exercises, faculty critique, and deposition video review — then return to the room to apply the feedback in the next round.
