This first session will cover two things: First, the general overview of what we hope to accomplish in opening. What should be our overarching goal?

Second, we’ll go over basic story telling techniques such as how do we introduce/talk about our plaintiff? When and how do we use first person/present tense in opening?

How do we deal with dates, how do we use the human timelines (what is a human timeline?)? How and when do we deal with the defenses? What kind of powerpoint slides do we use? What should they contain? From who’s perspective do we do certain scenes?
