I grew up in Georgia about 45 minutes south of the Atlanta airport, on 52 acres with the nearest grocery store about 20 minutes away. We had two ponds on the property, so I spent a lot of time fishing for bass and catfish and exploring the woods. It was a rule in our house that if we had friends spend the night on Friday, we were up and working by 8 a.m. on Saturday. But for some reason, my friends never seemed to mind.
I am the fourth of 11 children, though now the only one still in Georgia. I attended Brigham Young University, majoring in English. After my first year, I spent two years in South Africa on a service mission. That experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me a deep appreciation for the people, culture, and landscapes of southern Africa, from Cape Town to Kruger National Park.
My wife and I met in college. She was raised in Las Vegas, and together we have four children. Our oldest is a senior in high school and our youngest is in 4th grade. We spend a lot of time in the 30A area of Florida, but my favorite trips are snow skiing with my kids.
Outside of work, I enjoy pickleball, working out, and good BBQ. I can also hold my own at foosball. I’m a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves and, like most Georgians, I pull for all the Atlanta pro teams. Of course, I support the Bulldogs, too.
I founded The Jewkes Firm in Tyrone, Georgia in 2016, focusing on personal injury litigation. Before that, I practiced as an insurance defense attorney. Our firm handles cases across Georgia, including more conservative venues, and we love serving our local community.
I’m grateful for organizations like TLU that bring trial lawyers together to sharpen their craft and better serve their clients. Being part of that community is one of the most rewarding aspects of what we do.
If I can ever be a resource, I’m always happy to connect. My cell is 404-803-1832 and my email is jordan@jewkesfirm.com.
